Burton Returns Policy

Burton returns policy covers customers in the UK and republic of Ireland. Customers are free to drop off items at a nearby Burton store if they need to do a return. Customers can also return items before 7 days elapse as per the Distance Selling Regulations. Making a return is easy for Burton customers as they can use the post office, Collect+ or contact Burton to come and pick the item. Refunds are prompt and take place within 3 days.

Republic of Ireland customers
Some brands on sale in republic of Ireland are returnable only as per Burton refund policy. Some of these brands are Nickelson, Plain lazy, joystick junkies, Junk mail, Old glory and Bloc 28. They can also be returned to the original purchase store. For items bought online from burton.co.uk, they can only be returned by the internet using free returns label.

How to return
Customers can log into their Burton account and go to the ‘request a return’ section. Orders can be created and a unique returns authorisation number is generated. The freepost label will have this number indicated on it. Items have to be received within 14 days of delivery. Customers can also use the post office to make a return. For this, a proof of postage will be required. International customers make returns at their own cost. Items can also be dropped off at a Collect+ store.

Returning promotional items
Items bought in a promotional package for example 2 for 1 must be returned in whole for a full refund.

Direct selling regulations
According to the regulations, customers can return items within 7 days of receipt if they are not pleased. This is in Burton returns policy. Customers’ statutory rights to return are fully respected.

Customer accounts are credited within 2-3 days of the good being received at the Burton warehouse.
