Comet Returns Policy

Comet returns policy allows customers to return faulty goods within 28 days of purchase. Unlike some stores which will not accept an opened product, Comet do not have a problem as long as the item is not used, if it is used it has to be faulty to qualify for a refund. Customers also have an easy time with returns as they can drop a product at any comet store. Refunds can be done to customers who change their mind within making an order of the item. This is even if the package has been opened.

Cancelling an order
A customer can cancel an order within 7 days of the delivery of the goods as laid out by the Comet returns policy. If the item is unused, the customer is free to return the order. The customer can just take the item to a comet store and get a full refund or a gift credit card with the same amount.

Packaging the return
The item has to be returned in its original package. Unless faulty, the item should be unused and accompanied by all the original labels, accessories, and parts.

How to return
Items can be dropped off in any comet store. Returns should be made within 28 days or 14 days for a computer. For items that are over £25, a restocking fee of 10% applies with the maximum cap at £99. This can be avoided by opting for a gift credit card of the same amount. Items that are under £25 are fully refunded. Small packages can be dropped at the comet’s click and collect or call and collect store. For bigger items an arrangement has to be made with comets to come and pick up the item.

DVDs, cameras and other recordable media that has been used cannot be returned unless it has been found faulty.
