Currys Returns Policy
Currys returns policy sees to it that customers with a genuine claim get their refund in less than a week. As long as an item has been returned within 7 days, Currys returns policy follows the Direct Selling Regulations that allow the customer to open the package for inspection. The customer also gets further reprieve in knowing that a product is covered by a warranty and can be replaced within a year. Refunds on damaged or faulty items are done after it is determined that the product is indeed faulty.
A change of mind
The customer is free to return an item within 7 days if he changes his mind and does not want the item. Even if the item has been opened for a look, the customer can return it in the period. The item must not have been in use and for items that store data like DVDs, memory sticks, they must remain sealed. The original packaging plus accessories and parts should also be returned. if the item is not returned in 7 days, it should remain unopened and should be returned in 21 days.
Damaged or Faulty item
A damaged product should be reported within 48 hours whereby it will be collected free of charge. For a faulty item, a return can be made within 21 days. The customer will get a choice for a replacement or a full refund. After 21 days, the terms and conditions in the warranty apply.
How to return
A customer can opt to contact currys online or on the phone to arrange for a return. Alternatively, the customer can walk into any currys store and drop off the item. Proof of payment will be required. The credit card that paid for the item should also be carried along.
The funds are credited within 5-7 working days after receipt of the returned goods by the store.
