Halfords Returns Policy

There are several ways to make returns to Halfords under the Halfords returns policy. The simplest is bring the item in question to your local Halfords store, along with a copy of your invoice. Items returned without an invoice may still be exchanged at the discretion of the store manager. There are some exceptions to store returns. Halfords stores cannot accept products delivered direct from the manufacturer, Gift Vouchers, made to order items, items cut to size, Driver Safety Aids, Nitro Cars, or Parking Sensors. Please note that Sat Nav devices can only be accepted for return if they are in their original packaging with intact security seals.

Items that have been posted to you may be returned by post. All items returned by post must be accompanied by a returns authorization, which may be obtained either by email to customer.services@halfords.co.uk or by telephoning 08450579000. When contacting Halfords regarding a return, please specify the item to be returned, the details of any problems with the item, your customer order number and your personal information. In reply Halfords will send you an email containing a returns note, which should be printed and included in the parcel containing your returned item. If no fault is found in the item returned, a collection fee be charged if the item is not taken in by a Halfords store.

Very large or heavy items can be picked up directly by Halfords, but you may be charged for the collection if the item is not faulty. A return collection may be arranged by contacting Halfords customer service by phone or email and asking them to issue a returns authorization.
