John Lewis Returns Policy

Before making your purchases at the John Lewis website, it is important to first consult and understand the John Lewis returns policy. Once an order has been placed, it is near impossible to change it. Thus, it is important to be sure that your order is accurate when it is placed. If you wish to add more products to your order, you will need to place a new order for these items. If details of your delivery need to be changed, remove the items from your order or completely cancel it. Feel free to contact the customer services service available by telephone and email. When doing so, please be able to provide your order number and order date.

John Lewis Returns Policy
If you need to make a return, you have several options. You may choose to do a return by courier. To do so, you must fill out the reason for return on the back of the delivery note. Then, include the delivery note with the product and package the return securely to prevent damage. You are provided with a pre-paid Royal Mail Returns label with the delivery note. When you send the package from the Post Office, be sure to obtain a certificate of postage for your records. You may also return your product to a John Lewis shop. To do so, simply take the delivery note or order confirmation and product to be returned to corresponding department of the store. As an exception, Waitrose Wines cannot be returned to a John Lewis or Waitrose shop—these must be returned via courier collection.

Some items are, unfortunately, not available for return or refund. These include products that are personalized or made to order, perishable goods such as flowers or food, unsealed CDs, DVDs, tapes, and other recording media, software, or video. Exceptions apply if these are faulty.
