Julipa Returns Policy

Julipa returns policy follows much of the policies of other catalogues in the JD Williams trading chain. The policy gives Julipa much discretion in dealing with a return though it odes not violate the customer’s statutory rights in regards to returning goods. The Julipa returns policy is largely dependent on whether the goods are included in the home approval plan or not. The catalogue also has 14 days for a customer to return an item and any returns after this period are deemed late. Customers buying electronics would do well in asking for more details in regards to returns.

Packaging
Goods for return must be in their original form with no alterations. They must be as new with no signs of use. Security seals and tags must not be broken and the original labels must be attached. Customers should indicate on the advice note the reason for returning the goods. They can also write on the package if there is no advice note. A retuned goods note should also be attached. Customers can request one on the website if there is none that came with the item.

Returning
To return an item, a customer should go to the ‘arrange a return’ section in her account and fill in the details. A call to Julipa can also serve the purpose. They send their courier to make the pick up. Standard charges apply. Alternatively, one organise for the package to go by the courier of her choice. The post office can also be used to deliver the package. Proof of postage or a receipt from the courier is necessary for a refund.

Late returns
Items that are returned after 14 days attract a £3.00 processing fee. Julipa can then decide if there is merit for a replacement, refund or nothing.

Home approval exclusions
Electronics, white goods and personalised items are excluded under the home approval plan. Statutory rights apply however.
