Marisota Returns Policy

Marisota returns policy has a returns policy that largely depends on the home approval terms and conditions. The customer still retains her statutory rights but if the item is under an exception under the returns policy, Marisota have the discretion to make a replacement or refund or simply reject the return. The returns policy is simple and to the point covering packaging, late returns, home approval exceptions and refunds. Customers who purchase electronics and personalised items should have a proper look into the returns policy before purchase.

The item must be returned as new with no security tags broken. Original labels and the receipt must also be attached. In addition, the customer should attach an advice note ticking the reason for returning the item. If there is no advice note, the customer should write on top of the package the reason for return.

Sending items back to Marisota
Goods must be returned in 14 days after purchase. The customer can log into her Marisota account and go to the ‘arrange a return’ section to make arrangements for picking up of the package. Marisota’s courier will make the pick up. The service has a standard charge. One can also make arrangements with her courier to return the package. One can also use the post office. A returns label should be attached. Proof of posting or a receipt from the courier is necessary for a refund.

Late returns
Goods that are returned after 14 days are deemed to be late returns. As such, Marisota can either accept them or send them back to the customer at the customer’s expense. For these items, a processing fee of £3.00 per item applies. The refund will then be done within 6 months

Home approval exceptions
Some items on the Marisota catalogue are not purchased under the home approval plan. These include electronics like computers, mobile phones and cameras whose security seals are broken. White goods like refrigerators, dishwashers, and washing machines are also excluded. The customer’s statutory rights remain in place however.
