Morrisons Returns Policy

Morrisons returns policy is a bit tricky to the customer as the store mainly deals with pharmaceuticals, food and drink items. Due to the nature of these items, many are not returnable. Items can be returned to any Morrisons store provided they have the item in stock for an exchange. The customer bears much of the responsibility in ensuring he gets the correct item and that it is not faulty. Morrsisons even refunds E-pay transactions providing the customer has the card at hard.

Packaging
Sealed products must be returned so. Unfrozen and unsealed food and drink products cannot be returned for obvious reasons. Electronics must be returned in their original form with no alterations done. Original receipts, labels and packaging must be presented.

Non-returnable items
For practical reasons, Morrisons does not take back these items unless they are faulty at the point of purchase

  • Pharmaceutical products
  • Tobacco
  • Lottery purchases
  • Baby foods and milk

Electricals like computers and accompanying accessories like DVDs must be accompanied by proof of purchase and as per the conditions in the warranty.

How to return
Items can be dropped in any Morrisons stores. If the customer is in need of a replacement, the store has to have the item in stock. Items to be returned to the original store can be sent by courier if they are of manageable size. Bulk items can be picked up by special arrangement with the Morrisons staff.

Refunds
The customer can have his money back in less than a week. In the case of E-pay, the customer can have the money back in 10 minutes provided he is the store where he carried out the transaction and he has the card in hand. Proof of purchase is also necessary if the customer needs a refund. Otherwise a replacement is done.
