PC World returns gives the customer a variety of scenarios that allows for return of an item. A customer is allowed to change his mind and make a return or even take back the item for being damaged or faulty. The store gives the customer a brief timeline within which to get a full refund or a replacement. Customers can also enjoy the one year warranty in addition to the 21 day grace period. Refunds are prompt with the customers getting their finds in less than a week.
Returning unwanted items to PC World
A customer can return an item even after opening it in less than a week. The item must be unused and in it’s as new condition. After 7 days, the item should remain unopened. It should also have all its accessories and parts intact. The proof of purchase should also accompany the item. Returns should be done within 21 days if there is a change of mind. This could be a delivery note, receipt or bank statement.
Damaged or faulty items
A damaged item should be reported within 48 hours and it is picked up free of charge thereafter. Faulty items can be returned at any time before 21 days elapse. After 21 days, the warranty kicks in.
How to return
Customers are free to walk into any PC World store and drop off a return item. This is provided they have a proof of purchase for example a receipt or a delivery note. They can also call and arrange for an item to be picked up if it is bulky in nature. Contacting PC World online is also an option that customers can exercise.
Refunds are done in 5-7 working days. Items that were damaged and had repairs started can attract a charge to offset the repair costs.
