Simply Be Returns Policy
Simply be returns policy gives the customer 14 days to return an unwanted, defective or unsatisfactory item. The customer is also restricted in returning goods excluded under the home approval plan if their security seal is broken. The customer’s statutory right in regards to returned goods apply for goods that are unused and intact. Simply has great discretion in deciding the fate of late return items. Customers can also expect to spend some money on returns as they are by courier.
Items for return should be in their original unaltered form. They should have all original labels attached and the security seals intact. The customer should tick on the advice note the reason for returning an item. A returned goods note should be taped on to the package with the customer’s name and address.
The customer is free to choose a courier to do the return. Alternatively she can arrange for Simply Be’s courier to pick up the package. The preferable way is for the customer to log into her account and fill in details in the ’arrange a return’ section. Alternatively one can call wit the details. The post office is also another choice for sending the package. In all cases a proof that the item was sent is mandatory for a refund.
Simply Be considers an item to have been returned late if it is returned after 14 days. The customer has to pay £3.00 per item as processing fee. The catalogue can decide on a replacement, repair, and refund or send back the item to the customer at her own cost.
Home approval exceptions
Apart from damaged, malfunctioning or incomplete items at purchase, some items do not fall under the home approval plan. This includes electronics like computers, software and white goods like refrigerators. If the security seal is broken, they are excluded. The customer’s statutory right of returned goods remains if the goods are intact
